Westport, CT (March 7, 2008) – The Westport Young Woman’s League is proud to present the 30th annual Minute Man Race!  Spring is just around the corner and it’s time to kick off your snow boots and pull on those running sneakers.  Registration has already begun for this year’s race which will be held on Sunday, April 27th at Compo Beach.  There are several sign-up options--whether you’re planning on the 5K, 10K or Kid’s Scamper, there is something for first-timers and veteran runners alike.

For the second year, the WYWL has partnered with Active.com allowing participants to sign up from the comfort of their home.  New this year, the friends and family sponsoring program.  Encourage them to support you while enabling the WYWL to donate more money to local charities.  Just follow the directions the active.com to set up your sponsor account.
