A Family Fitness Event!

Children’s Art Contests

Design the Kids’ Race Day T-shirt!!! 
T-shirt Design Contest (Age 12 and Under)

 INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Create an original design drawn in BLACK FELT TIP MARKER.
  2. Design should not exceed 8 x 8 inches.
  3. Design should relate to the race and must include:  (a) “Minute Man Race”, and (b)  “April 27th, 2008”.
  4. Use an ink pen to write your name, address, phone number and your age CLEARLY on the BACK of the page you create.
PRIZES:  Winning design will be printed on the kids’ race T-shirt.  Grand Prize:  $75 gift certificate from MAX’s in Westport.

Entries must be received by April 14th, 2008

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Print a copy of the drawing above in landscape format. (Go to page set up and choose landscape.)
  2. You may use crayons, art pencils, markers or watercolors — your choice!
  3. Use an ink pen to write your FIRST NAME and your AGE clearly on the FRONT of the page you color.  Write your address and phone number on the BACK.
  4. PRIZES:  Grand Prize:  $50 gift certificate from Art Supply Warehouse in Norwalk.

All entries must be received by April 14th, 2008.

The winners will be announced on Race Day, April 27th, 2008.  Winners will be notified by telephone prior to race day.  Entries will be judged by Miggs Burroughs.  Age of the artist will be taken into consideration.  All entries and winners will be displayed at the Compo Beach Pavilion on race day.  Entries become the property of the WYWL.  Race entry not required to participate in Children’s Art Contests.
