WYWL RUN FOR A CAUSE
& Raise Money for one of your favorite local charities*! (listed below)
Another way to have fun and help raise money for the charity of your choice by obtaining pledges from family, friends, and co-workers for running or walking in the Minute Man Race! All money raised through these pledges will go directly to your charity chosen among the 46 local charities listed that the WYWL supports.
Registration Kids can raise money too by participating in the kids' fun run or by running or walking in the 5K. http://www.active.com/donate/WYWL2011
Just follow these easy steps:
1. Register on active.com for the Race -
2. Create a Personal Fund Raising Page in which you designate your charity at http://www.active.com/donate/WYWL2011 and select “become a fundraiser” at the top of the screen.
3. Please note; that the designated charity must be one of over 46 local charities that WYWL supports listed below.
4. Also, anyone can make a contribution by http://www.active.com/donate/WYWL2011 then fill in the box with the donation amount.
